Friday, November 1
8 a.m - 12 p.m. — Class visits
Join your student in one or two of their favorite classes. Faculty will plan for extra seats.
8 a.m - 3 p.m. — Atlas extended hours

Families are invited to enjoy an ice cream cone at the oldest candy store in Walla Walla. A WWU representative will be on site at Bright’s to purchase ice cream for the whole family!

Current students and community leaders will share personal stories of how “Love in Action” has transformed their lives through serving others. Come be inspired and learn how you can turn love into action by making a meaningful impact through service.

ASWWU Outdoors is hosting a family-friendly hike. Dress for cool weather, including hiking or walking shoes (might be muddy), bring water, and meet at the University Bookstore by 3:25 p.m. or at Bennington Lake at 4 p.m. Hikers must provide their own transportation.

Bring the family and cheer on our students! The women’s game starts at 7 p.m. and the men’s game begins at 8:15 p.m.

7 p.m. — The Color of Threads
Enjoy this 25-minute film where a weaver and a group of seamstresses learn to navigate the unstable climate in post-Civil War Pendleton, Oregon, while trying to secure their futures in the town. The film was written by Josie Henderson, a WWU alumna, and produced by Walla Walla University's Center for Media Ministry. The project was filmed at several locations in Walla Walla, Umatilla, and Columbia counties with lots of support from local organizations and community members.

7:30-9 p.m. — Observatory Open*
The Physics Department invites you to come look through the telescope on top of Kretschmar Hall. Weather permitting, the observatory will be open 7:30-9:00pm on Saturday evening. To get to the observatory, take the middle stairwell in Kretschmar Hall (the one next to the CHE office) to the 3rd floor. The door leading up from 3rd floor will be open during this time. Key card building access.
